A Study of Scion Phenotypes in Pummelo Grafted onto a New Citrus Rootstock Citrus junos ‘Pujiang Xiangcheng’

چکیده

Citrus is one of the most important fruit crops in world. junos Siebold ex Tanaka cv. Pujiang Xiangcheng a new rootstock with good grafting affinity and multiple abiotic stress tolerance. In this study, effects ‘Pujiang Xiangcheng’ two commonly used rootstocks for maxima (Burm.) Merrill Guanxi Miyou, considering their growth, photosynthetic performance, phytohormones quality, were evaluated. There was little difference between three graft combinations height diameter scions. However, can cause an up-regulated capacity. addition, ‘Guanxi Miyou’ on had highest total sugar (TS) content (129.28 mg·g?1) lowest titratable acid (TA) (0.78 g·100 mL?1) 2020 TSS (11.84%) 2021. no significant TSS-to-acid ratio trifoliate orange (13.41) (15.68), but it significantly higher than that sour pummelo (11.61). Moreover, comprehensive quality better based two-year statistics. We suggest might be appropriate production compared orange.

Different adaptation strategies of two citrus scion/rootstock combinations in response to drought stress

Scion/rootstock interaction is important for plant development and for breeding programs. In this context, polyploid rootstocks presented several advantages, mainly in relation to biotic and abiotic stresses. Here we analyzed the response to drought of two different scion/rootstock combinations presenting different polyploidy: the diploid (2x) and autotetraploid (4x) Rangpur lime (Citrus limoni...

Transcriptome Changes Associated with Boron Deficiency in Leaves of Two Citrus Scion-Rootstock Combinations

Boron (B) deficiency stress is frequently observed in citrus orchards and causes considerable loss of productivity and fruit quality. Carrizo citrange (Cc) has been reported as a rootstock more tolerant to B deficiency than Trifoliate orange (To). The 'Newhall' navel orange (Ns) performed better when grafted onto Cc (Ns/Cc) than when grafted onto To (Ns/To) under long-term B deficiency. The pre...

The Scion/Rootstock Genotypes and Habitats Affect Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Fungal Community in Citrus

Citrus roots have rare root hairs and thus heavily depend on arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) for mineral nutrient uptake. However, the AMF community structure of citrus is largely unknown. By using 454-pyrosequencing of 18S rRNA gene fragment, we investigated the genetic diversity of AMF colonizing citrus roots, and evaluated the impact of habitats and rootstock and scion genotypes on the AM...

Extraction of Citrus Flavonoids from Peel of Citrus Junos Using Supercritical Carbon Dioxide with Polar Solvent

Abstract Citrus juice processing residues are mainly composed of peel, juice sack and seed. The peel, especially, consists of bioactive compounds such as flavones. Supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO2) extraction of flavonoid was carried out at a pressure of 30 MPa and temperature ranging from 80 to 160°C. Ratio of water and ethanol as a co-solvent was varied from 0 to 100%. Flavonoids such as ...
